Book Writing Project (Update 01)

Published by in Book Writing Project Updates · 19 June 2010
I just want to say hi and welcome. I'm excited to be on this journey of learning how to become a writer and I do hope you stay and follow along to the very end. I also hope I can offer you some useful tips along the way.

Well, this is the first post on my Book Writing Project where I'll share how I got the idea to start this project and the inspiration to become a writer.. it starts with an idea!

A part of learning how to write a book is to generate ideas. With some writers it comes easy, others not so.

It’s pretty obvious that before you can write a book you have to have some ideas about what it is you’re going to write about. Right?

You would at least need to know what the plot is going to be, so you can structure the rest of your book around it.

But what if you're stuck for book ideas, what can you do?

I'm going to give you some tips you can use to jog the old grey matter. Here's how I generated my creative book writing ideas for my very first book.

So how did I get the idea for my first book?
